- We went over CMap in quite a lot of detail. Here is an overview of what we covered
- General Use - Creating new tasks and arrows between them, replicating the navigation system of dienhart.com as an example. I had a pre-made example that I created that represented the CKCS web site navigation. We made a lot of modifications to it as a group.
- Linking - We covered how cmap's could be linked together.
- Exporting - We covered how cmap's could be exported to HTML and as JPEGS. HTML retains linking, so multiple linked cmap's can be exported to the same location and remain linked.
- We even experimented with trying to export a FreeMind Mind Map to XML and import it into CMap. We were unsuccessful, but had fun trying.
- Future Topic Discussion
- Added Time Tracking / Resource Management to the list
- Questions and Answers
- No specific items come to mind. Since the Knowledge Mapping demo was interactive. Most questions were answered as we went through the demo.
- Lots of discussion possible solutions that would allow us to more easily administer CKCS web site content. More to come on this in the future.
